An example of a comment on a talk page -- Walt Crawford 11:31, 15 November 2007 (EST)

Here's a simple example of adding a comment to a talk page, including a subject/headline. If you're just adding a comment, scroll to the bottom of the page before adding your own text.

And here's another comment, again using the + tab -- Walt Crawford 11:36, 15 November 2007 (EST)

That's pretty much all there is to it. Note: if you have a lengthy comment that feels like its own article, you can add a brief comment that links to and creates a new page, then write the article there.

Just put the name of the new page between double square brackets:

[[Sandbox page for you to try out formatting]]

generates the page Sandbox page for you to try out formatting
and save the page (show preview first!). That creates an empty page; click on the link and say what you have to say.

(Yes, you can use that sandbox page to try out formatting--maybe clearing it when you're done?)
