PALINET Leadership Network editors move pages, giving them new names, for several reasons, e.g.:

  • To provide more descriptive names that make sense on category pages.
  • To move pages into "namespaces" for specific reasons--e.g., to protect signed essays and identify them as signed essays.

If you create a new page and find that it's disappeared, it's probably been renamed by an editor. You should be able to find the new name using a search or by browsing appropriate categories.
