How to create an account

If you already have a PLN account, use the login link in the upper right.

To add comments, create pages or edit pages, you must have a PLN account.

If you do not yet have a PLN account, please complete the following steps:

  1. Click on log in / create account in the upper right-hand corner.
  2. The log in screen will come up.
  3. Click on Create an account.
  4. You will need to supply a Username, Password, Retype password, Organization Name, E-mail, and your Real Name.
  5. Make sure the password you choose is a least 7 characters and has at least one number.
  6. After you submit the form, you will receive an e-mail asking you to validate your e-mail address by clicking on a link in your e-mail. Be sure to click on the link--it's a vital step in the process.
  7. You can then log into the system and read all content--but not edit or create conten.
  8. You will be automatically notified by PALINET Support that you have created an account.
  9. In most cases, you'll get another email, typically the next business day, saying that you can now edit and create content. Using an institutional email account and real name will speed that process.
